Blended from : Merlot 100 % First launched : 1999 Vine’s average age : 21 years
Soil & cultivation : Arid, stony, lime and clay soil. Vines cultivated organically under supervision of Ecocert. Ploughed, no chemicals or fertilisers.
Yield : 35 hectolitres/hectare
Vinification : Once hand sorted on tables, the grapes are gravity fed into vats. No yeast. Traditional vinification with alternating cap immersion and juice circulation. Five weeks’ maceration. Pneumatic pressing. |

Maturing : 36 months including 24 in french oak barrels.
Bottled in August 2009, No fined . No filtered.
Production 5,300 bottles and 200 magnums. Tasting hints : Let the wine breathe in an open bottle or, even better, decant it for at least 2 hours before serving it at around 15-17°C.
